Magdalena Matte Lecaros
Se ha desempeñado en áreas como la ingeniería de la construcción y la industria gráfica. Actualmente es socia y Directora Ejecutiva de la Empresa Dimar. Ocupa además el cargo de directora en empresas de diversos sectores.
Fue una de las impulsoras de la Fundación “La Vaca”, que dio origen a la actual Fundación Banigualdad, institución inspirada en las ideas del premio Nobel de la Paz, Muhammad Yunus, y pionera en Chile en la entrega de micro créditos a mujeres de escasos recursos. Asimismo, creó una red de cerca de 230 talleres de capacitación para más de 3.000 mujeres en el Maule Sur.
Es militante de la Unión Demócrata Independiente.
Magdalena Matte nació en Santiago, tiene 59 años, es casada y madre de seis hijos.

Magdalena Matte graduated from high school at Colegio Santa Úrsula and she obtained her Civil Engineering degree with a concentration on Construction from the Universidad Católica de Chile.Mrs. Matte has longstanding and successful professional experience. Among others, she has worked in areas such as construction engineering and the graphics industry. At present, she is a partner and an executive board member of the company Dimar. Magdalena Matte sits on the board of several companies in different industries.
She was one of the driving forces behind the micro-credit program of Fundación La Vaca, that gave rise to the present Fundación Banigualdad, a Chilean pioneer institution providing micro-credits for poverty-stricken women. She has also created a network consisting of 230 training workshops for more than 3,000 women in the district of Maule Sur.
Mrs. Matte is an active member of Unión Demócrata Independiente.
Magdalena Matte was born in Santiago, she is 59 years old, married and the mother of six children.
